Two designers, Hans Edblad and Cathrine Olsson, run Edblad & Co. Hans is known for his previous work with the design company Fafner. Edblad & Co was formed in 2005 and the office, warehouse, studio and production are all located on Singö, Roslagen Sweden.

The production is based on playfulness or functionality - everything must not be useful or practical. Therefore Edblad & Co has a large variety of products that span from chairs, lamps, hangers, sculptures and jewelry. Lena Thak Karlsson once upon a time aimed to become a hairdresser, had a bad hair day and ended up a designer.

"Learning how to work with anew material is a challenge rather than an obstruction. Both the results and the process gets more interesting when you get to work with what you like". "It would be a shame to get stuck in a box", Catherine and Hans says.
