Ivana Helsinki is an exclusive Finnish design brand and the hottest representative of "Fennofolk", the new Scandinavian design scene. Paola Ivanna Suhonen is the designer behind the fashion pieces, starting from her dark na?ve mind-landscapes, doing prints, graphics and well, everything that is involved with the visuals. She runs the family company with her older sister Pirjo. Everything is manufactured in Finland.

"Ivana Helsinki started as my personal art-project, now it's a way of living to us. Hell yeah it's a cliché, but that's how it is. I'd rather just travel around and go on my road trips, but it's pretty much ok to do cute, straight cotton and woolen dresses for drummer girls and girly women. They are the ones who love moonlit fields, pirates, dark forests, crummy motels, champagne state of drunkenness, fragile butterflies, unstable relationships and guardian angels. After all, they are just after a love of their lives, just waiting to see, will he be a rock star, a motor biker, a gnome, a cosmonaut or a sailor."
