Kila
Cecilia Claesson designer of Kila's jewelry has in ten years created a fantastic idea with a new connection to some very well love pieces of porcelain from Sweden's past.
Ten years ago, Cecilia's son found a piece of broken porcelain in their garden in Horred Sweden. Cecilia decided to use the piece to create a broach and a new idea was born.
Today, Cecilia manufactures the jewelry with old classically patterned Swedish porcelain from Gustavsberg, Gefle, Rörstrand, Upsala-Eckby and others.
"Porcelain that become jewelry. Based on old porcelain that generations have used in their lives. Humans have used it under happy and sad says. Patterns and shapes of the porcelain give nostalgic feelings from past times. With these objects as a base point, I make jewelry for both women and men, old as well as young, for party and for everyday use. It is durable jewelry that is made to be used often and for several years."
