Klippan's Wool Fabric Manufacturing Company is a company owned by the same family for more than 120 years. The company was founded by Jöns Petter Magnusson in 1879. He was the great great grandfather of the present owner Gösta Magnusson. The main production line has always been wool production. This long tradition is combined with premier Swedish design, and results in textile products of extra ordinary standards.

Klippan has commissioned some of Sweden's most interesting designers to work with them in coming up with their design offerings. Designers representative in the past few years include: Lotta Glave, Birgitta Bengstsson Björk, Chiqui Mattson, Karin Mannerstål, Bengt Lindberg and Pia Amsell.
