Myrica Bergqvist. Born in Uppsala Sweden in 1974. Educated at Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome Italy 2000-2004. And started her business myricadesign in 2005.

"Growing up in a home filled with furniture and textiles by Scandinavian designers such as Carl Malmsten, Alvar Aalto and Josef Frank together with my five years in Rome's classical, conservative architecture and Italy's decadent dolce vita had a strong influence on my designs. Humor, glamour and the luxury of everyday life together with simplicity can describe my designs."
