Almedahls has a large range for the kitchen, including classical patterns as well as new products for the season. It all started with the project “Linen Line” by Astrid Sample, which signified a revolution for the Swedish linen cupboard in the 1950’s. All towels are made in the long-wearing quality 50 % flax linen and 50 % cotton, which stands wearing by generations and only gets more beautiful as time goes on.
Designed by innovative Swedish textile designer Astrid Sampe in 1955, this print was a huge success from its unveiling at the prestigious H55 Exhibition in the 1950s and it still looks good today. The design was dedicated to another Swedish trendsetter – the ceramiscist Singe Persson Melan and features a graphic interpretation of his stoneware herb pots filled with spices and herbs.
