The "Friday's" collection from Dada's Diamonds was derived from the designer’s fascination with the story Robinson Crusoe, and that time in history. A time in history where there were so many fallacies and misconceptions at the end of the 1600’s that resulted in descriptions and stories with strong religious beliefs blended with fearful superstition and dread of savages and the unknown. The contents in the stories can be understood in so many ways, which opens up exciting figures and symbols for the designers to experiment with. The thought is also to surprise a little bit and not follow the classic picture.
This necklace “Perish” has two pendants in the shape of skulls, which when worn are placed to make them look like they are attached to each other, thus creating a sort of face of "Janus". Necklace in 925 sterling silver.
