The essey brand name is derived from the word essential forming the very core of our values and inspiration. Nature is a powerful source of inspiration due to the evolutionary and organic fundamentals of minimalist success factors. Ultimately nature acts using the simplest means / the essentials.

The main designer, John Brauer has been in almost all parts of the world - exploring, working, visiting and collecting impressions of different cultures to a mind of comprehensiveness. He has worked with communication, product and graphical design for various companies the past 15 years. His original style is expressed through deep involvement and quest of new values.
