Stig Lindberg was one of the most prolific designers in Scandinavia. For many Swedes, he is representative of the playful design of the 1950´s. Lindberg studied at the Swedish State School of arts, crafts and design in Stockholm, hoping to become a painter. After graduating in 1937 he accepted an employment as a faience painter at Gustavsberg pottery under Wilhelm Kåge.

Here the beloved Eva print is relaunched in the "fika" plate, 7" (18 cm). Eva is the "female" pattern, while Adam was the "male" pattern designed by Stig Lindberg.  Fika which in Swedish means to have a little snack or take a coffee is what Gustavsberg had in mind when they created this small plate. Pair it with the Gustavsberg Eva tea cup set to make a wonderful setting for yourself or guests.
