Product Description Unfortunately, Stig Lindberg is no longer among us, but I am sure his work will be for ages to come. He was one of the most famous and influential designers in Scandinavia. Stig Lindberg is especially representative for Swedish design of the 1950’s. There is probably no home in Sweden that does not have a Stig object displayed in a special place. Colorful tableware, textiles and children’s books, as well as ceramic art which you can find in museum collections worldwide. The Salix pattern by Stig Lindberg for Gustavsberg, Sweden was one of Stig's great designs. This pattern was in production from 1954 to 1965.
The Salix coffee cups and saucers are available in either red or black print. A coffee cup that is more European than American in size, this coffee cup makes a perfect serving piece for a little cup of coffee or your daily espresso.
