Sweden's Klippan Yllefabrik produces beautiful home textiles in wool, cotton and linen that reflect the importance that Swede's place on beauty, warmth and comfort in the home. Founded in 1879 when Jöns Petter Magnusson bought a wool spinning mill in the town of Klippan, the company continues to be a family run business to this day.

The well known Swedish designer Jonas Lindwall has designed the Sy Node blanket for Klippans Yllefabrik. Jonas, a Swedish celebrity in design, is also internationally recognized.  Jonas Lindvall’s design is simple, straight forward and pure, but it goes deeper than that. Behind the surface lie characteristics which make us react, think and feel. His constructions are allowed time to develop. It is pure craftsmanship in every detail. High quality and thoroughly executed, almost like in the old days.

The pattern, which resembles molecules, is inspired by the world of mathematics and the repetitive elements of the nature. The blanket is equally elegant swept around you or folded and placed over the back of the sofa. This is in accordance with Jonas Lindvall’s philosophy, his designs should work well
both in and out of use. As a furniture and interior designer, Jonas Lindvall has created a concept
around his new blanket. We are considering the possibility of taking it one step further and turning his pattern into wool fabric. If this is to become reality, we must wait and see. In the meantime, light a fire and enjoy the first blanket designed by Jonas Lindvall.
