This neat little black cube efficiently purifies and refreshes the air in smaller spaces, as well as reduces odors. It can be used in places such as drawers, closets, the car, or your refrigerator. It can also be used to keep food fresh as it absorbs ethylene gas - place it in your fruit bowl and it will stay fresh longer. 

It is made from powdered and compressed White Charcoal. To keep your Kuro Cube fresh longer, expose it to sunlight - this will allow it to dry out fully. It will remain active for one year, after which you can crush and mix it with potting soil as it is an excellent fertilizer.

White Charcoal is made from oak wood, but differs from regular wood in almost every way. The best quality branches are individually selected from slow growing, hard wood trees in the mountain forests of Japan and Korea. The forests are maintained by craftsmen who harvest from them in a very careful, delicate way, encouraging new branches to grow. These new branches absorb higher levels of CO2 than their predecessors, giving greater benefit to the environment and us.
